I’m really sorry for you my friend, i can imagine how hard it must be for you! My mother died in December too from her ovary cancer so i know a bit what you’ve been through. Be strong and keep your good job buddy, i’m looking forward for your product has we discussed months ago.

Thank you for your kind words Ellen. I come from a family that believes in helping people. Everything I know about internet marketing and web design I have had to learn on my own. I didn’t have anyone to take me by the hand and help me. That is why I am so adamant about helping those that I can. My sister would have wanted me to help as many people as I can and that is what I’m going to do.

What can I say! Jeff I feel extremely sorry for what happened to your sister and nephew. You probably don’t know me but I have been reading a lot on your blog lately which helped me a lot. So I feel like I know you and this news is making me terribly sad I really empathize with your situation Jeff. Be strong, keep going. I strongly and firmly believe your sister and nephew are in a better place now.

We are patient with you Jeff. Take all the time you need.

I have experienced the same nonsense with Ezine.

They expect me to write high quality content which I do but the moment I include a back link to my blog that reject me.

Believe it or not I get more web traffic to my blog by just blogging on my own blog.

Ezine has turned into garbage and I have little desire to repeatedly re write my already high quality and useful articles to suit their automated system.

Last spring, Hub-pages got Google slapped. So did Ezinearticles and a few other article directories.

With Hub-pages, they stopped all accounts and pages. These account pages were converted into a page with a URL. ie: lowell.hubpages.com to fit into Google’s desire to better index.

I almost missed the e-mails sent out by Hub-pages. They converted each account into a domained URL. If you did not click the link to authorize the transfer then it didn’t get done. The did say you could sign up for a new account if you did nothing or missed the changeover.

I agree, I have found very few “gurus” that can actually unravel the mysteries of making money online. What I have found is by writing simple articles about topics people need more information on, and publishing these articles and putting Google Adsense on the site, I can consistently make a small amount of money. It’s not get rich quick, but it does slowly build a consistent residual income stream.

Well, I’m a bit late to the party but I’m on the “EzineArticles” sucks wagon, too. The weird, arbitrary “changes” they insist I make to my content are head-scratching to say the least (i.e., a product review links to the product at issue, alleged grammatical errors that don’t exist (and are easily disproven), etc.)

In my off hours (what few of those there are), I get paid pretty well for freelancing writing. My paying clients like what I write — EzineArticles doesn’t pay me a dime and wants me to jump through hoops to get anything published. Trying to meet Ezine’s weird requirements doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and fooling with that site for too long could actually cost me money.
