Have you ever thought about using YouTube to promote CPA offers?

Don’t do it!

I just did a test to see if a strategy that I recently learned works or not and…

The Results Are In!

I can’t really go into detail about the strategy the guy was teaching (nor do I really want to)

But…

I can tell you that it sounded good enough for me to try it.

I can also tell you that it does not work.

One other thing I can tell you is what I did during the test.

I found a video I thought I could get a lot of views from…

I then went over to SaveVid.com and saved the video to my hard drive.

Once I had it saved I uploaded it to two different YouTube accounts.

I was able to get over 5,000 views in under 24 hours between the two channels combined.

That was just uploading it, giving it a good title, description, tags, and adding in links for a CPA product that was related to the video.

I didn’t send my email list out an email…

I didn’t send out a bulletin from my YouTube accounts…

All I did was sit there and watch the views come in.

I then kept a careful eye on my statistics in my CPA account.

I started seeing clicks come in slowly but surely, but I knew something was wrong right away.

The video was getting thousands of views but only a small percentage of those people were clicking on my links.

I know from experience that the links should have been getting clicked a lot more than they were…

And…

The worst part is the offer was not converting at all!

I still have them up and the last time I checked one account has over 1700 views and the other account has over 3700 views.

With all of those views I only have 33 clicks on the CPA product offer!

I believe this is enough evidence to sufficiently say that promoting CPA offers on YouTube is not worth mine or your time.

Oh yeah, just to make sure that my test wasn’t biased I uploaded 5 more videos and did the exact same thing with them.

One word…

FAIL!

If you are wondering why one video has twice as many views as the other it’s because I’m not as popular as Diemon Dave
